The Left Panel

**Location**: ``frontend/components/navigation/LeftPane.vue``

There might be 3 parts in the left panel:

1. The topic introduction

2. The preganncy complication selector (might)

3. The topic submenu    


All these data are defined in the ``topics.json`` file, please refer to the :ref:`implementation_structure/01_intro:Data Files` document for more details.
